DEATH CANNOT GET ENOUGH OF CANCER PATIENTS
A promising young girl, Shirley Benjoy passed on this week from suspected lymphoma cancer.
Thus, nasty head of cancer resurfaced. She was patiently waiting for her diagnosis for a month. Benjoy was waiting for it at the National Cancer Treatment Centre in Angau Memorial General Hospital.
Her story made its way to the front page on a local newspaper.
Post Courier reported that many cancer patients were living on faith in prayer.
Fear is tightening its grip on them as the absence of radiation therapy treatment in the center continues to delay.
Further, they said there was no longer oncologist.
Furthermore, the absence coupled with non-availability of radiation therapy treatment and delays of getting histopathology results.
