UN Resident Coordinator, Gianluca Rampolla Del Tindaro is quitting Papua New Guinea after leading the UN support to the government and her people for three and half years.

The resident UN Office said Gianluca consistently advocated for a change to the global narrative of PNG.
Additionally, it quoted Gianluca saying: “PNG is a beautiful country and what makes it beautiful is the people.”
All of us will miss his passion for the people of PNG and wish him all the best in his next post.As much as he will miss PNG, PNG will miss him. We wish him safe travels and all the best in his next post.

One of them is NCD Governor Powes Parkop.
Governor Parkop, who shared the post of his departure, said: “THANK YOU LUCA FOR GREAT THREE YEARS of service to our country, our people and to humanity. Caio!”
