The submission of a revised K28 million budget with the Department of Rural Development and Implementation also helped to make his visit possible.
He wasted no time as public accounts are freezing in December this year.
With district officials and supporters, Polye paid a much-needed visit to the school.
During his term in office, Polye said KDDA funded a science and computer laboratory.
During the swearing-in ceremony of KDDA Procurement Committee recently, he said he would partner Enga Provincial Government to upgrade it into a secondary school.
His visit was to establish what needs to be done to conform requirements of secondary school standard.
Kandep MP also flagged a need for the district to set up a new high school at Wage Local Level Government due to increase in enrollment.
At the moment, close to 29 primary schools are feeding the only high school in the district.
