PORT MORESBY PLANS PARTICIPATION AT DUBAI EXPO
Prime Minister James Marape and NCD Governor Powes Parkop this morning addressed the private sector.

In a high-energy breakfast meeting, PM Marape stated his government would make the environment in the country conducive for business.

The expo in Dubai is an opportunity for us to promote our country as an investment destination. Successful businesses are operating in our nation by the fact that they are able to return a healthy return on investment to their shareholders.
Governor Parkop
Governor Parkop positioned Port Moresby as the gateway to Papua New Guinea. He stressed on the opportunity to promote the city.

Additionally, Mr Parkop encouraged the government and private sector to actively and collaboratively participate in the expo, starting now.
It is important that the Chamber of Commerce finds ways to participate and makes an impact at the Dubai Expo. The expo is great for business, our country and our government.

Further, PNG joins 192 countries which are attending the event under the theme ‘Connecting Minds, Creating the Future.’
