The funeral program was to honour his services and other contributions to the province.
Hundreds attended it with cash, cartons of beverages and kind.
There were prominent contributions from Enga Provincial Government, Wabag DDA, Lagaip-Porgera DDA and business houses.
A car accident at the border of Enga and Western Highlands killed him on August 14, leaving his wife with four children.
Engans in a convoy of vehicles escorted the body to his Howai village in Mendi, Southern Highlands Province for final resting.
They contributed K69,000 in cash for repatriation of the body and other funeral expense.
Late Thomas’ tribesmen and local leaders commended Governor Sir Peter Ipatas and other leaders for their heartfelt treatment.
They said this treatment would go a long way.
He met his fate when his employer BSP promoted him to Boroko Branch in Port Moresby.
Many of his colleagues and relatives are still in shock in light of his untimely passing.
