CAR ACCIDENT LEFT LOCALS, FILIPINO INJURED

Police a while ago reported an evading PMV Bus crashed into another oncoming bus and small car along the Goodwit Road near the Australian High Commission in the nation’s capital.

Police say on their Facebook page the PMV bus involved in the accident whilst fleeing a road block mounted by officers of the Road Transport Authority.

The PMV sped out of Ugava Street and was attempting to turn onto Godwit Road when it rammed into a small car and a PMV bus today. The impact of the crash forced the run-away PMV to tip over and land on its side injuring several nationals and a Filipino man.

 

Police say.

Traffic Police, ambulance workers and firemen cordoned off the crash scene and conveyed the injured to the hospital.

Police sources said the PMV escaped from a road block at Erima by taking the route leading into the residential areas before attempting to drive onto Godwit Road when it crashed into a bustling traffic.

The Filipino was in the small car when it rammed into the PMV bus.

Traffic Police are now investigating the crash.
