FATHER ARRESTED OVER KILLING SONS
Police in Port Moresby have arrested and detained an East Sepik man for allegedly killing his two toddler sons.

NCD Metropolitan Superintendent, Gideon Ikumu said the suspect worked for an IT company as a salesman.
Mr Ikumu said the 29-year-old father committed the crime after engaging in heated argument with his wife.

Following their attendance to the crime scene, he said, Foresnic and Homicide Detectives arrested and put him behind bars.
The bodies of the two victims, he said, are in Port Moresby General Hospital mortuary.
In addition, Metsup said they would interview their mother in the investigation. That is to determine the cause which led to the heinous act.
Further, he appealed to friends and relatives affected by the killings not only to remain calm. But, also allow police to investigate these crimes by the East Sepik man.
